Proof of concept

This is already being built.

The point is not to pitch a fantasy. It's to name, connect, and amplify what women are already building — phase by phase, city by city.

Phase 1

Jessica Norwood

Building trust-based, non-extractive capital infrastructure through RUNWAY and Beloved Economies. Rewriting what it means to finance a business.

Phase 4

Dr. Lakeysha “Key” Hallmon

Operationalizing internal circulation through The Village Market and Our Village United. Proving that when women buy from women, velocity changes.

Phase 3

Kenya McKnight Ahad

Building education, support, and community infrastructure through Black Women's Wealth Alliance. The knowledge stack women need to build — not just survive.

Phase 4 + 5

Maggie Anderson

Proving that internal circulation works with a public buy-within commitment and real-world receipts. The data that proves the model isn't theory.

The point

The infrastructure already exists. We're connecting it.

Every example above represents a node in the ecosystem. The Women's Economy is about making those nodes visible, connectable, and powerful enough to operate as a system — not a collection of inspiring individuals.
